Yes, a referral is required to book a consultation. However, we’re happy to contact your regular veterinary practice on your behalf to arrange this and ensure a smooth referral process.

As a remote service, we are unable to prescribe medications directly. If we believe medical treatment is indicated, we will provide a detailed therapeutic plan to your regular veterinary surgeon, who can then prescribe or dispense the appropriate medication.

Yes, the behaviour package includes email support and a remote follow-up to monitor progress and make adjustments, within 2 months of the consultation.
Additional support can be arranged if needed after the 2-month period (£85 per consultation).

No – and no ethical behaviourist should. Every animal is different, and behaviour is influenced by many factors including medical conditions, environment, the pet’s history, and how consistently the plan is followed at home. While many clients see significant improvements, progress varies from case to case.

Many UK pet insurance policies do cover behavioural consults, provided they’re done by a veterinary behaviourist or under vet referral. I recommend checking directly with your insurer and getting pre-authorisation if needed.
We don’t offer direct insurance claims, but you can request reimbursement from your provider after the consultation. You'll receive a detailed invoice and behavioural report, which are typically sufficient for insurance claims under behavioural coverage.
